Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach me at Stephanie@walkerdivorce.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

During your initial consultation, you will meet with Stephanie to discuss your case. She will ask you questions about your situation and provide you with an overview of how Coaching can help.

The Coaching relationship terminates immediately upon the client informing Stephanie that he or she no longer wishes to continue working together.  There is no ongoing obligation. The only remaining  obligation is for any previous Coaching time spent or invoices due.

The client leads the coaching relationship. A divorce coach is trained in coaching with a specialty in divorce issues; however, a divorce touches every aspect of a client's life: home, family, children, friends, health, career, finances, community, dating, etc.; thus, a divorce coach often works with the client on concerns that might seem to extend beyond just the divorce process itself.

You are not alone. A Divorce Coach provides a safe place to be heard without judgment. You can work through concerns that maybe the legal system doesn't address (i.e.,co- parenting of college/adult children). Sometimes the client just needs to be heard and validated. Coaching can work with the whole person as this change is happening in life. Coaching can be priced lower than some other professionals and thus more available to the client.
